We were tasked with increasing customer engagement before, during and after events at the Barclays Center. Barclays Center is a state of the art sports and event arena. To enhance the customer’s overall experience, not just at the stadium, American Express partnered with 360 Design to create a strategy and design for an all encompassing mobile experience.
We designed the ability for American Express to sell and promote tickets to people before an event. Then during an event to sell merchandise, food and beverages, special and promotions. The app uses geo-fencing, iBeacons and push notifications before, during and event and after, all designed to increase user engagement and provide an enhanced user experience.
These features complement Barclays Center visitors experience from the initial ticket purchase, to concession stands, targeted at-event promotions, merchandise and crowd control.
