360DESIGN engineered a custom 3D virtual space to host the 30th annual conference for one of New York’s leading law firms. Schulte Roth & Zabel, a full-service law firm with offices in New York, Washington, D.C., and London. The firm provides legal services to some of the world’s largest hedge funds and thousands of investment funds globally.
To make this novel event a true one-of-a-kind experience, our team developed a custom 3D logo for the event that appears throughout the space and is used as a sculptural centerpiece.
User experience is vital in working with virtual spaces, the environment should feel exciting and new, while also providing familiar interface elements to make the experience comfortable. A static navigation bar and signage along the walls allow users to access agendas, speakers, and locations to transport about the space in a single click.
In order to achieve the final virtual environment, blueprints were used to continually adjust the sizing and spacing of elements and refine until the virtual space felt comfortable, open, and easy to navigate.
In one day, more than 800 invite-only guests from all over the world took part in the seminar which was introduced and moderated by Jill Schlesinger from ABC Money. Attendees were able to take part in the main program with keynotes or attend separate breakout sessions and panel discussions.
