ROUTE SIMULATOR 
Want to see how little time it takes to get from Paris to Berlin, from Shanghai to Beijing, from Motueka to Timaru? The route simulator draws a route on a map and calculates variables such as the number of people transported compared to other modes of transportation, time saved, speed, and CO2 emissions (Hyperloop has none).

AR &amp; VR EXPERIENCES 
An augmented reality simulation means that a capsule can be tracked inside the tube. Peripheral telematic data tracks key metrics of the capsule, tubes, and system.

SHORT FILMS + ANIMATIONS 
Storytelling can be a powerful way to communicate the narrative of a novel technology. Short films appeal to people&#8217;s emotions, explain the technology and expand reach and awareness to help grow the pool of innovation resources. Films under 1 minute are designed for social media channels and longer versions can live on the website, presentations, in the office space, and YouTube.

National Geographic – Barkskins Premiere Movie Theater. Along with Beck Media &amp; Marketing, 360DESIGN constructed a virtual movie theater that evokes the series’ visuals — complete with period-appropriate benches, log cabin-inspired beams and flooring, and flickering lanterns on the walls.

Before entering the virtual theater the guests are greeted by a landing page that acts as a precursor to the journey they are about to embark upon. A timer builds excitement and a secret code unlocks the theater for those who were invited.

To give a fully immersive experience, guests who logged in early were able to use an interface below the screen to access bonus activities — whether looking through photos from the set, getting introduced to the cast of characters, viewing a map of the world, or looking at behind-the-scenes vignettes on the show. The premiere was followed by a live virtual chat with the cast and producers of the series.

For Amazon’s newest animated adult superhero series, they tapped 360DESIGN to build a visual premiere that would take the experience beyond the screen and allow the viewers to become a part of this epic cinematic experience.

Amazon desired a virtual premier experience for the debut of their twist on the classic superhero comic series. Invincible is packed with surprises that challenge the idea of what a superhero is and so 360DESIGN created a premiere that could do the same with interactive character maps, galleries, and a whole lot of gore.

To give the audience a chance to connect with the series on a deeper level while expanding the reach and awareness of the program, an Instagram filter was able to give guests the experience of being Invincible wearing his iconic mask and flying through cities at supersonic speeds.

Before showtime, users were presented with a series of opt-in messaging that allowed their device to record their reaction to the scene of the first episode. The sharp turn of events and no lack of carnage produced a wide range of audience reactions that they were able to save and share on social.

As the countdown reaches zero, the creator and executive producer, Robert Kirkman, gives a brief into to the episode to the set the stage for the wild ride that followed. For comic book fans and those not familiar with the media, the Invincible premiere offered something for everyone.

Dior “Nose” is a documentary about Dior perfumer-creator François Demachy, directed by Clément Beauvais and Arthur de Kersauson. The virtual premiere screening invites guests to embark on a journey to the fields of France in an experience that breaks the boundaries of the conventional film experience.

The Dior theater blends lush imagery from the film for backdrops that transport guests to a world of luxury. Prior to the film’s screening they can view a gallery from images on set and biographies of the cast and crew.

At any point during the premiere, guests have access to a Photo Booth accessed from a page with a QR code that opens Instagram on the users phone and instantly allows them to become a part of the film. The filter is designed after the poster artwork and through sharing, generates excitement for the global release date.

Guests also received a bottle of Champagne, as well as Miss Dior perfume and Odorama cards so they could smell along as Demachy travels to Indonesian patchouli plantations and Italian lemon groves, among other places. “Live an unprecedented viewing experience in augmented reality,” the card reads. “The Odorama allows you to discover each note depicted in the film as it unfolds. Embark on the true visual and olfactory journey concealed under each numbered sample.”

Following the screening, guests were treated to a private question and answer session with Demachy and the directors for an even deeper dive into the complex world of fragrance.
